Hello readers,

There are alot of differences between the movie of Lamb to the slaughter and the real story of Lamb to the slaughter.

1) Mrs Maloney was not sewing when her husband was coming home.

2) In the story, Roahl Dahl did not specify what Mr Maloney told Mrs Maloney but yet in the movie Mr Maloney said that he had an affair with another woman.

3) In the movie, Mr Maloney actually told Mrs Maloney to try to stop him from leaving the house when Mrs Maloney beg him not to leave her.

4) Mrs Maloney ate some grapes in the movie but not in the story.

5) Mrs Maloney rehearsed in the story but not in the movie.

6) Mrs Maloney push over tables and chairs and dropped her groceries and did not scream in the movie but in the story, Mrs Maloney did not push over tables and chairs and did not dropped her groceries but screamed in the story.

7) The policemen came and said that it seemed more like a fight took place in the movie but in the story the policeman did not say anything.

So, readers, I think that writing a story and filming a movie have different purposes so filming may change the story line of the story.

Dear diary,

I'm very tired today. Not only tired, but also sad, disappointed, shocked, and most of all, confused. Why did all this things happen to me??? How am i going to live from today onwards??? Oh, what am i going to do??? Hope that you will listen to all the things that happened today.

I killed somebody, dear diary. But i don't seem to regret. Why??? Am i becoming a cold-blooded murderer???Sigh, i just feel that all the things are over.

I loved and hated that person. He seems to be a nice person, but when i get to know him, he seems to be those kind of irresponsible jerk, that took love as a kind of game. Don't you know him well, dear diary???

I was waiting for my husband this very night, excited and happy. Today, I had gone for a check-up and the doctor said that i was pregnant!!! I was sure that my husband would be extremely happy when he know that we would soon have a baby.

"Brroommmmmm!!!"I heart pounded hard and fast. My husband was back. Just as i expected, i heard a key turning on the lock and a tall, big figure walk in the door. A detective, he was.

"Hi darling!"I told him and kissed his cheek."Let me take off your coat, will you?"

"No."His voice was cold and hard. From that instant, I feel that something is wrong. Usually, he was not like that. Maybe he was tired, i thought. Then I poured him whisky and said,"Darling, you are tired, aren't you?"He kept quiet and stared blankly outside the window, into the dark. Then he gulped down his drink. "Should i pour another bottle of drink..."I asked sincerely.

"I'll do it." he said. He stood up."No, I'll do it." I said."I can do it."he said in a firm tone."Now, darling.I think it is going to be quite a shock to you.I hope you wouldn't get angry."

An affair with another woman!!! I was totally flabbergasted. I felt dizzy. NO, he must be joking. I lied to myself."You must be joking, darling?"I forced a bitter smile. But he shook his head.

"I would make your supper."As i walk into the kitchen, I felt as if the sky is falling. My husband even lied to me!!!He told me that he had conference daily, and I actually suspected him and started to question him but i actually believed him. I thought that we still had love in each other. I thought...

I took out the frozen lamb leg and took it out for my husband. And I saw him packing up. "Don't go!!!"I feel as if the world is falling apart and i am actually crying and begging my husband. "Try to stop me."He seems to be a totally different person now. A cold and heartless creep. He did not even turn around and talk to me and continued packing. Simmering with rage, I finally boiled over. I walked up straight to him and "WHAM!!"

And he was dead. Lying there on the ground, he was stone-dead.

Now, i start to figure out that trouble was brewing. Police would come!!!

Being a detective's wife, I knew exactly how the police did their investigation. First, I rehearsed in a mirror so that I wouldn't sound suspicious, then i needed to find an allibi. I went to the grocer to buy some vegetables and when i went home, I made a mess in the living room to make the scene look like a fight, i threw my bag of groceries down and screamed as loudly as possible, hoping my neighbours could hear me. Secondly, I placed the lamb into the oven. Then, I called the police...

In a jiffy, the police came. The policemen were trying to find out who the murderer is, looked for clues and the weapon used for killing. The police searched everywhere, then finally came to the oven.
"You are hungry, right?Would you like to have some lamb chop and coffee?" I asked the policemen. After some agreement issues, they agreed as I beautiful lamb leg and served it with coffee to the policemen. While eating, the words that i would never forget is, "We searched the house, and what if the weapon was right under out noes!"

Diary, am i evil???Have i done wrongly???Anyway, thank you for letting me pour out all my misery to you. Hide yourself properly!!!

The previous topic that i have learnt in my Language Arts class is plagiarism. I have learnt that plagiarism is an illegal way to copy another's original idea and work, yet still many people chose to commit it. A plagiarist faces heavy fines and may sentence to jail. Some people commit plagiarism intentionally because they think it is fun or maybe because they think people cannot catch them plagiarizing. Some do it to quick-fix researches, some commit the crime accidentally by paraphrasing or does not quote facts. I think that we should not plagiarize as I think that this is the same as stealing. We be fair to the original author as it is their hard work. We should come up with our own ideas before making reference. If we want to use other people's ideas, we must cite its source. Some people may not know when to cite a source, so I feel that the best way is when in doubt, cite sources or just come up with our own ideas. By citing sources, one would make his idea more original as his idea is distinguished from those of his sources. So, I hope all of us would not plagiarize and think of ideas using our own abilities!!!

According to the results of the "meaningful" diagnostic test, I have learnt that i am actually logical, myself smart, nature smart and a little of word smart, people smart and not that much of music smart and picture smart.

I seriously doubt that the test results is even true. Firstly, the test results show that i am actually logical. However, in my P6 life, i was always reprimanded by my chinese teacher because my composition was always out of the point. Or maybe, I have become more logical? :P Anyway, i don't think that i am not music smart, because I learn piano till grade 5 and my parents always say that i am musical and i like to listen to lots of music like chopin's nocturne, mozart's sonata and some other non-classical music like John Denver's song. And maybe i have become less musical???

Though, I do agree that I am myself smart as I think that learning by myself is more effective than learning in a group(for me!!:D) because there are surely a lot of distractions when people work in a group as the more playful ones might suggest to play and so the work will be left undone.

Now, to nature smart!! Why am i nature smart???I am nature smart as I care about the nature simply because I LOVE THE NATURE!! I hate selfish people who causes pollution to the earth like people who smoke and companies that cut down so much trees that even they lost count of the amount of trees they cut down. Actually, i cannot blame them totally when I myself have not achieve to be VERY environmentally-friendly. Actually all this issues about the pollution and destroying of earth are ALL caused by HUMANS, which are ourselves!!

WOWWW!!!I did not know that i am a little of word smart and people smart!! HAHA!! Maybe it is just because I learn faster when i know the meaning of words or learning with people???

I know that I am not picture smart because I do not really work well with pictures like mind maps and photos though i know that I can appreciate beautiful drawn pictures. OK, at least i know that i have to improve on picture smart!!

Though I think that this test is not 100 percent true, however, at least I analysed where my weakness are and I will try my best to improve!!
